Corbett National Park- the Ultimate Paradise for Nature Lovers

Corbett National Park in India is a rare nature and wildlife resort. It has a large variety of enchanting wildlife that includes 50 different types of mammal and more than 550 species of birds besides 25 reptiles. The river is teeming with the famous Mahaseer, the angler’s delight, gharial and mugger, the Indian crocodiles, and flocks of cormorants. There are streams that form islands of Sheesham trees. The ridges are thick with the sal trees while there is pasture land with long grasses. This combination of habitat is ideal for the tiger and the leopard.

You may find the lesser cats in Corbett National Park too such as the leopard cat and the jungle cat or the fishing cat. The park has the sloth bear and the Himalayan black bear besides the dhole and jackal, the civet cat and the Indian grey mongoose. Common otters are not rare besides porcupine and elephants that one finds in plenty inside the park.
